Black History Month
To celebrate Black History Month, we focused on the topic 'Celebrating our Sisters'. We focused on the achievements and influence of black or mixed heritage women by discussing information about a range of influential women from over time. We celebrated the culture and ethnic backgrounds of these women by decorating masks and colouring in flags of the different countries the women originated from. A wonderful way to learn about and celebrate Black History month!
