READING INSPIRE WORKSHOPS
Week beginning Monday 21st October, we invited parents in to school to take part in a reading workshop.
Parents had the opportunity to read with their child as well as developing an understanding about how reading is taught for their child’s year group. A huge thank you to all the parents who came. 
NATIONAL LIBRARIES WEEK
Week beginning Monday 7th November, we recognised National Libraries Week. We invited Alex, from Cradley Heath Library into school to talk to us about the library service and what the children’s local library has to offer.
Alex also read some revolting poems from the popular book Revolting Rhymes. All children visited the school library and swapped their books ready to take home.
On Friday 13th November, we celebrated Roald Dahl Day. Our pupils learnt about Roald Dahl, read extracts from his books and took part in a range of activities. Please see photos below:
