Good morning Reception!  We are sorry that you have not been able to come to school again today but we hope that you managed to enjoy the snow yesterday.  We would love to see any photographs you have!  These can be added to your 'Evidence Me' profiles.  We would like you to take this opportunity to practise your reading, using your Bug Club login details. If you haven't logged on before, you will find your personal login details inside your reading record.

We would also like you to choose one or two activities from your homework menu and upload these to your 'Evidence Me' profile.

There are also additional activities and ideas below that you can complete if you choose to.

We have missed you and look forward to seeing you again on Monday.

Additional Ideas

Junk modelling - use up all the recyclable materials in your home by making a model of your choice.

Drawing - can you draw a snow themed picture? 

Physical activity - there are lots of activities on YouTube, such as cosmic kids' yoga or just dance to get everyone moving.

Construction toys - build models using your fantastic imaginations.  Can you talk about your plan e.g., what are you going to build? what do you need to do next? 

Role play - dress up or take on different roles in play. Set up a cafe, a restaurant, a shop, play doctors, or schools and teachers. Use props from around your home to enhance the play e.g. tins of food, coins/money. Explore different occupations and talk about their importance in our society/lives.

Our new teachers

During the Spring term, we have the addition of Mrs Leach  and Miss Tiwana in Reception. They will appear in the home learning clips and will be working at school with our Key Worker bubble.
