DECCA

On Thursday 26th January, Year 6 participated in DECCA Day! Three special visitors came into school to host important session showing the children how to make sure they can stay safe outside and online.

First, we had a visit from a lovely police officer who spoke about her job role, the importance of staying safe and who to speak to if you feel you or someone else is in danger.

Then, we had a visit from Holly who spoke to us about the dangers of drugs and alcohol. We completed lots of activities and played games!

Finally, we had a visit from Ian who works for Anti-Social Behaviour at Sandwell Council. He spoke to us about treating everyone nicely and what to do if you feel you have witnessed anti-social behaviour.

What a super, informative day!
