National Story Telling Week 2025 - 2026

Pupils at Reddal Hill enthusiastically took part in a variety of activities to celebrate National Storytelling Week, helping them explore the joy of stories, build their confidence in speaking and listening, and deepen their love of reading.

Key Stage 1

Key Stage 2 celebrated the power of stories through oral storytelling, reading and writing for pleasure. Pupils took part in an online workshop with Annemarie Anang.

- National Storytelling Week 2023 -

(Saturday 28th January to Saturday 5th February)

This week we have been recognising the event National Storytelling week. We have had class teachers swap classes to read stories with pupils, class visits to the school library. Also, Year 5 pupils spent time with our Reception pupils reading a range of wonderful and exciting stories.

On 31st January we celebrated National Story Telling week. To celebrate and recognise this we had a mix up  and had different teachers read with different classes. Pupils loved this especially when Mrs Bashir-Pugh read her story to Nursery.
