Reddal Hill Music 2026-2027

At Reddal Hill, we take part in lots of musical activities! 

Mr Brennan visits Year 3 every week on a Monday to teach them how to play the ukulele. 

Mr Oakes from Rocksteady visits our school every Tuesday to teach the children how to be a rock star.

MS Whitmore visits us every Tuesday to teach brass lessons.

Ms Bye visits our school every Thursday to teach woodwind lessons.

On a Thursday, we have our Singing Assembly where we sing altogether in the hall in our phase groups!

Also, Mrs Leach is hosting a singing enrichment after school club this year for all of the children and is running the Young Voices trip this year!

Musician of the Month

Each month, we celebrate and recognise a special musician who has worked super hard during their musical learning! They are awarded Musician of the Month!

Music Mark Award

We are so proud to announce that we have achieved the Music Mark award again for this year! Congratulations to all of the amazing musicians at Reddal Hill! 

Young Voices

On Thursday 14th January, we will be performing at the Young Voices 2027 concert.  We are currently very busy learning the songs and cannot wait for the concert to arrive!  What a superb opportunity we will have, not only to perform with live musicians and thousands of other children, but to listen to some amazingly talented, well-known artists too!  Keep a look out for photographs from the event...
