School Lunches

The cost of a child's school dinner is currently £2.70 per meal. (Children in Reception and KS1 get a school meal free of charge under Universal Free School Meals). 


We request that all dinner money is paid at the start of the school week when possible. Payments can be made on Arbor.

If you wish to order school dinners, please let the school office know. 

Throughout the year we also have special menus. These will be uploaded to the website and shared with parents at the time of the themed day.

  • Our catering provider, SIPS, are taking part in the LACA's 'School Lunch Skills For Life Week' from Monday 10th November–Friday 14th November. Please see below further information attached about what is happening throughout the week as well as some delicious recipes for you to try at home.

Free School Meals

Many families in Sandwell could get free school meals but don't claim for them.

Your child may be entitled to free school meals if:

  • Your annual income is less than £16,190; and

  • You claim Child Tax Credit (*not including working tax credit) only. 

*Please note you will not qualify for free school meals if you receive any amount of Working Tax Credit. Before applying, please check your latest Tax Credit Awards Notice if you are unsure.

Your child may also qualify for free school meals if you receive any of the following benefits:

  • Income Support

  • Universal Credit – Your household income must be less than £7,400 a year (after tax and not including any benefits you get)

  • Employment and Support Allowance (income related)

  • Guaranteed Pension Credit (including Child Tax Credit)

  • Income-based Jobseekers Allowance

  • Support from the National Asylum Support Service
