Parent Teacher Association (PTA) - 2023 - 2024

Our Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is continuing to run this year to raise money for our school!

All of the details and information for upcoming events will be posted on this page so make sure you keep an eye out!

We have produced a PTA Constitution which will help us to become a registered charity.

Please feel free to have a read if you would like to find out additional information about what the PTA is all about. 

Our next meeting is on Monday 15th January at 2pm. We will be discussing upcoming events for the next half term! We look forward to seeing lots of you there!

AGM Meeting
On Tuesday 24th October, we had an AGM meeting where we invited all parents and carers along to see how the PTA works, the events that were organised to raise money for the children at Reddal Hill and how much money has been rolled over into this academic year. 

Thank you to the new members who have joined the PTA; we cannot wait to organise more events this year!

Eid Celebration Day

On Friday 19th April, we celebrated Eid!

All of the children came to school in celebration clothes or party clothes, we all completed Eid activities in our classes and then the PTA sold samosas and sweet cones on the playground at the end of the day!

A wonderful way to celebrate Eid everyone! Well done!

Easter Hampers

For Easter this year, the PTA created a range of Easter Chocolate Hampers!

On Wednesday 13th March, Mrs Bashir-Pugh drew the raffle!

Congratulations to all of the winners! Enjoy your Easter chocolate!

Thank you to everyone who purchased raffle tickets for the hamper :)!

All of the funds raised will go back to our lovely children at Reddal Hill :). 

*Unfortunately, due to a technical error with the camera, the recording of the hamper raffle did not work. However, there were a number of witnesses in the Staff Room whilst the raffle was taking place. Thank you for your continued support. 

PTA Movie Nights

This term, the PTA have held movie nights for the children at school. 

On Tuesday 30th January, Year 4, 5 and 6 children watched Elemental. 
On Tuesday 6th February, Nursery and Reception watched Paw Patrol. 

On Wednesday 7th February, Year 1, 2 and 3 watched Encanto. 

The children all went into the hall with their comfy clothes on, teddies and blankets to watch the film. They had a snack and a drink provided as well. 

It was so lovely to see all of the children enjoying the film :)!

PTA Winter Wonderland

On Wednesday 20th December, the PTA held a Winter Wonderland on the playground!

We had gazebos, fairy lights and inflatable Christmas characters! 
We sold hot drinks, samosas, sweet cones, hot chocolate cones, decorated gingerbread men, reindeer food and punch balloons!

Thank you to everyone who supported our Winter Wonderland!

We would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas!

Christmas Chocolate Hampers

The PTA, this Christmas, sold raffle tickets to win Chocolate Hampers!

The tickets were sold at £1 for a strip; raising lots of money for the wonderful children of Reddal Hill!

Easter Egg Raffle

Winter Wonderland Disco

On Friday 16th December, the PTA put on a Winter Wonderland disco for the whole school!

We went into the hall, competed in Musical Statues, had squash and biscuits and then had a fantastic time dancing!

It was the best way to finish for the Christmas Holidays!

A massive thank you to the PTA for setting it all up :)!

Christmas Hampers!

For Christmas this year, the PTA created a range of hampers full of goodies! Thank you to all of the members of staff who donated towards them!

The hampers looked absolutely amazing! Thank you to all of our families who purchased a ticket as the money goes straight back to our lovely children here at Reddal Hill!

Buddy Benches 
During the last academic year, the PTA raised enough money through all of the events at school to order our Buddy Benches for the playground!

These look amazing; a massive thank you to the PTA for organising these!

Macmillan Coffee Morning

On Friday 30th September, the PTA hosted a Macmillan Coffee Morning to support the charity!
We invited all parents and carers to the dining room where a range of cakes were on offer!

Our lovely Mrs Begum made some beautiful cornflake cakes as well that were raffled off to the parents, carers and staff!
A brilliant morning which raised a fantastic amount of money for the charity!

Fun Day 2022

On Friday 15th July, we had our Beach Fun Day!

We took part in a number of fun activities throughout the day: we went on the wall bars, had ice creams, played on the bouncy castles, drove diddy cars and even got to soak Mr Stokes!

It was a brilliant day and such a fantastic way to end our time at Reddal Hill!

A massive thank you to the PTA for organising it all for us!

Queen's Jubilee Tea Party

On Friday 27th May, the whole school went onto the playground for our Queen's Jubilee Tea Party! We walked a lap of the playground waving our flags, sang the National Anthem, ate crisps, cupcakes and biscuits, sang our school Jubilee songs and then had a dance to songs throughout the decades that the Queen has reigned!

It was an amazing day and the playground looked brilliant!

Well done Reddal Hill for celebrating such a significant historic event!

After school, the PTA set up stands where they sold sweet cones, cupcakes, glitter tattoos and punch balloons! The ice cream man came onto the playground too!

Thank you to all of our parents who have supported this event today! Our children really appreciate it!

Easter Hampers

Thanks to all of the chocolate donations from our lovely families, the PTA have created 20 chocolate hampers all ready for Easter!

A massive congratulations to all of the winners of the hampers; we hope you enjoy your delicious chocolate!

Parent and Carers' Afternoon Tea

On Friday 25th March, the PTA set up an Afternoon Tea for our lovely parents and carers. 

They decorated the dining hall and invited parents along for some tea and cakes!

It was a lovely afternoon! Thank you to all of the parents who donated :). 

We hope you all enjoy your day on Sunday!

Nursery and Reception Cinema Hour

On Friday 11th February, the PTA held a Cinema Hour for our Nursery and Reception children!

The children came into the hall, watched Paw Patrol on the big screen and had a biscuit during the film :)!

A lovely hour for our youngest children!

Valentine's Disco!

On Friday 11th February, the PTA hosted a Valentine's Disco for children in KS1 and KS2. 

The hall was decorated following a Valentine's Day theme and the children wore Valentine's Day red clothes to celebrate the occasion!

The children had a snack and a drink and showed us some of their best moves!

Everyone had an amazing time at their disco!

Bring and Buy Sale!

On Friday 28th January, the PTA held a Bring and Buy Sale!

The children were able to bring a maximum of £2 along with them to school and in their timetabled slot, they went over to the hall and chose which items they would like to purchase!

The items ranged from 10p - £1 so hopefully the children were able to grab a bargain!

Thank you so much to the families who have donated items to the sale!
We raised a staggering £340 from the sale which will be going straight back to the lovely children at Reddal Hill!

Christmas Hampers!

For Christmas this year, the PTA created nine hampers full of goodies! Thank you to all of the members of staff who donated towards them!

The hampers looked absolutely amazing; thank you to everyone who purchased a ticket as the funds raised will go straight back to our lovely children :)!

Christmas Party Afternoons

On Friday 2nd December, as a gift from the PTA, Nursery and Key Stage 2 had a Christmas Party!

The children came to school in their Christmas clothes and had a party in their classroom where they each had a drink and snack, played a range of party games and won prizes for Musical Statues, Musical Bumps and Best Dancer!

A fantastic way to start Christmas off!

Polar Express Morning

On Friday 2nd December, as a gift from the PTA, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 had a Polar Express Experience morning!

The children came to school in their Christmas clothes or pyjamas and went into the hall to join the Polar Express! Each child had a drink and a snack, they met Santa, had a dance on our 'train' and each went home with a bell as a memory from the experience!

A fantastic way to start Christmas off!

Parent Teacher Association (PTA) - 2020-2021

Our Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is continuing to run this year to raise money for our school! The PTA have needed to adapt to different ideas to raise money due to the current situation this year but we are hoping we can still raise a substantial amount of money for the wonderful children at Reddal Hill!

Christmas Hampers!

This morning, Mrs Bashir-Pugh pulled out the winners for our wonderful Christmas hampers!

The winners are...

Megan from Year 5 who has won the treat hamper and

Rozan from Year 2 who has won the toiletry hamper!

Well done!

Christmas Hampers!

Due to the current situation, the PTA are unable to organise large school events at the moment. However, to continue to try and raise as much money for our pupils as we can, the PTA have organised two Christmas hampers; one full of toiletries and one full of chocolate goodies!

If you would like to be in with a chance of winning one of the hampers, a letter will be going out to the children on Wednesday 25th November. Each raffle ticket will be priced at £1 and if any parents would like to purchase any, please could you return the slip from the bottom of the letter, along with the money, by Friday 4th December. Your child will then come home with the raffle tickets. The winners will then be chosen at random by Mrs Bashir-Pugh on Monday 7th December. A video of the raffle tickets being drawn will be uploaded on to this section of our website. Our wonderful office staff will then contact the winning families and you can come and claim your prize :)!
