The focus for this week's home learning is Understanding the World, please see below for activities and challenges.
As this week would of been our annual sports day and it unfortunately cannot go ahead, we thought it would be a good idea to have
virtual one instead. Can you try out some of the activities and ideas below or create some of your own! Please take photos and videos of these and email them to us and we will choose one winner who will receive a special Virtual Sports Day certificate. Look out for the winner on our shout outs page!
We look forward to seeing photos and videos of your learning this week!
Have lots of fun!

Can you sing some of these number songs and record them?
Name writing ideas
Provide your child with their name card that was sent from Nursery or write your child’s name on some paper. Talk to your child about the letters of their name and provide them with different tools to have a go at forming them. You could use sand or shaving foam on a tray and see if they can use their finger to form the letters. You could also paint on foil or just simply provide crayons and felt tips and see if they can copy some of the letters of their name.
Make an obstacle course
Use an outdoor or indoor space and set up different challenges for your child to try out such as, something to jump over, balance on and crawl through.
Ball/ bean bag toss
Can you throw balls/beanbags into a basket or bucket and see how many you can get inside?
Secure a piece of ribbon or string across the room to use as a net and then hit the ballon over
it to a sibling or adult.
Use the same net and use flyswatters or a cardboard tube as tennis racquets to hit the balloon over.
Throw balloon into a basket or bucket and see how many you can get inside.
Can you go for a walk with an adult and see what numbers you can find?
