'How to Train Your Dragon'

Once you have read / listened to chapters 5 + 6 of 'How to train your dragon', take a few minutes to think about the characters and what we know of them so far. List the main characters and write next to each 3 adjectives that describe their personalities. Now, think back to the story, what makes you think this? What evidence do you have?

 

eg - Hiccup is brave because in the story he ______.

Are you reading any other books at the moment? Could you email us a quick book review of a story you've enjoyed?  We'd love to hear about it.

 

Was it a fiction book? What happened in the story? Were there any unexpected problems that the characters had to over come? What happened in the end? Did you like the book? Would you choose another by the same author?

 

Perhaps it was a none fiction book? Did you learn any cool facts?

ECO CHALLENGE!

With us all spending extra time at home, it's more important than ever to make sure we are reusing and recycling as much of our household waste as possible. 

Reddal Hill Eco Council challenge you to turn something that would otherwise be thrown away and into something useful. Take a look at the attached document for ideas.

Email a picture of your creation to your class teacher no later than Friday 5th March and a winner will be chosen from each year group.

 

Have fun and remember - reduce, reuse, recycle!
