Days of the week and weather songs

Encourage your child to join in singing our Nursery weather and days of the week songs.

How's The Weather?

Days of the week

Fine Motor activities

Try out this cotton bud activity or choose an activity you did not get chance to do last week. See pictures below and click on the other home learning pages to see full details of the different activities you may have missed.

Cotton bud painting

Can you use a cotton bud to paint the dots of the Autumn pictures. These sheets can be printed or collected from school or you could

just try out using a cotton bud to paint with!

Rhyming activity

Can you support your child to match the rhyming words together by drawing a line. Explain to your child that rhyming means when words sound the same. Please print this sheet or collect home learning pack from school. You could always show this document to your child on a computer device and talk about the different words to see if they sound the same.

Word Aware

Can you sing along to the Word Aware Rap using the word slow?

Remember our focus number this week is number 8 and we are learning to use the language more, less and the same to compare 2 sets of objects. Print out the sheet below or collect from school and support your child to colour in the group of objects that show more or less than the other. Additionally, you could show your child two toys and you challenge them to find more, less or the same amount of toys.

Remember to bring in any completed activities or to upload photos of these on 2simple.
